The Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District has completed registration for School Year 2016-2017 for the Jaffrey-Rindge Inclusive Preschool (JRIP).  The Preschool offers a typical preschool experience for 3 and 4 year old children who reside in Jaffrey or Rindge, as well as special education for those children who require it.  Children must be 3 years old by September 30, 2016 in order to be eligible.  The JRIP has classes at Rindge Memorial School and Jaffrey Grade School.  Children are assigned to a school based on town of residence.  Tuition is $750.00 – $1000.00 per year and parents are responsible for transporting their children.  There are a limited number of openings each school year, so admission to the program is decided by a lottery process.  Registration for the lottery is held in February.

The Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District Early Childhood Special Education Team will be screening children ages 3 to 5 to determine if the child has a delay in one or more of the following areas:

In accordance with Public Law 105-17 (IDEA), the District of Jaffrey/Rindge is required to actively seek, identify, and provide services to handicapped children ages 3-21. If you know of a child, living in the towns of Jaffrey or Rindge, in need of Special Education services, please call the Director of Student Services.
